Offseason Focus "Our primary focus this offseason has been on the weight room. Strength is a key component of our success, and we know we need to continue building it throughout the offseason." Special Offseason Events "This summer, we’ll be participating in several events to develop our players and build team cohesion: 7-on-7 Tournaments: We’ll be attending tournaments at University West Georgia, Auburn University, and Reinhardt University. Team Contact Camps: We will attend Rockmart High School’s camp in June and Putnam County High School’s camp in July. The July camp will be held at Rock Eagle 4H Camp, where we’ll stay for a great team-building experience." Notable Additions & Departures "Aside from losing several key seniors, we should have most of our team returning. The biggest changes will be on defense, as we lost 7 of 11 starters. However, offensively, we are returning 8 starters, which gives us a strong foundation." Players to Watch Will Rajecti (Sr., Running Back): A highly recruited player with offers from Georgia, NC State, Memphis, and several others. Kolby Martin (Sr., Quarterback) Maddox Waller (Sr., Tight End): Offers from North Alabama. Alex Brewer (Sr., Offensive Tackle): Offers from Colorado State, USF, and others. Brody Craig (Jr., Offensive Tackle): Offers from Memphis, USF, and more. Drew Williams (Jr., Linebacker) Matthew Matz (Sr., Defensive End) Brooks Darling (Sr., Wide Receiver) Players to Watch: Riley O’Neill (Sr., Offensive Guard) Jack Ripley (Sr., Wide Receiver) Carson Bahry (Sr., Defensive Back) Benji Smith (Sr., Defensive Back) "The senior class has been doing an outstanding job of leading by example—showing up on time, putting in exceptional effort, and holding each other accountable. This has created a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork among the group." Weight Lifting and Fitness "Our offseason training includes weighted carries, which help build toughness while introducing competition. We’ve also introduced Sprint Madness: each week, players compete in a bracket-style race to crown the fastest player, which has been a fun and competitive element." Nutrition "We leave nutrition to the families, but we’re happy to offer guidance or connect them with nutrition experts if needed. Beyond that, we don’t have a formal program in place." Coaching Perspective "With all our coaches returning for a third year, we’re focused on reviewing game film from last season to identify strengths and areas for improvement. We'll also attend coaching clinics to explore new ideas, drills, and strategies. We’ll continue with the approach that’s worked for us, making sure we adapt to what’s best for our players." Fan Engagement & Community Impact "We stay connected with the community through our social media. We have a coach dedicated to keeping our parents, students, and fans updated with important news and events." Biggest Challenges Ahead "Our main challenge is avoiding complacency. After recent successes, it’s easy to assume that another successful year is guaranteed just because we have so many returning starters. We need to stay focused, work hard every day, and continue pushing ourselves to get better."
