Offseason Focus This spring and summer, our primary offseason focus has been simple but effective: get out there and hit a lot of golf balls. We’ve emphasized spending more time on the course, sharpening individual skills, and building consistency across all aspects of the game. Our goal is to ensure every player comes into the fall season feeling confident and course-ready. Special Offseason Events One of the highlights of our offseason was attending the FCA Breakfast at The TPC Sawgrass during The Players Tournament. It was a memorable experience that not only offered a unique look into professional golf but also helped the team grow closer. Events like this are a key part of our culture—developing skills, values, and team chemistry off the course. Notable Additions & Departures We’re returning two solid starters: senior Nitaya Nhiev and junior Sheridan Adams, both of whom are stepping up as team leaders. On the flip side, we say goodbye to graduating senior Prisha Dabhi, whose leadership and presence will be missed. Players to Watch Keep an eye on Nitaya and Sheridan this fall. Both athletes have been putting in serious work during the offseason—spending extra time on the course, refining their swing, and staying competitive. Their commitment and work ethic have been outstanding and could translate into breakout seasons for both players. Weight Lifting and Fitness While we don’t have a formal strength program in place, many of our players are staying active through independent fitness routines, walking courses, and incorporating stretching and mobility work into their practice sessions. We’re focused on building endurance and core strength to stay sharp throughout long matches. Nutrition We currently do not have a formal nutrition program, but we encourage healthy eating habits and hydration, especially during tournaments and practices in the Florida heat. It’s something we continue to educate our players on informally. Coaching Perspective As coaches, we’re focusing on fundamentals and individualized development this offseason. With a smaller returning roster, we’re taking a hands-on approach, offering more one-on-one instruction and mental game coaching to help our athletes play smarter and more strategically. Fan Engagement & Community Impact We’re continuing to build visibility in our school and local community. Attending events like the FCA Breakfast and sharing our journey through school announcements and word-of-mouth has helped generate some buzz. We’re also encouraging students with no prior experience to come out and give golf a shot—it’s a great way to grow the game and build our team. Biggest Challenges Ahead Our biggest challenge heading into the fall season is numbers. With only two returning players, our focus is on recruiting and growing interest in the program. We want students to know that experience isn’t required—we’ll teach them everything they need to know. Our door is always open for new talent and anyone curious about golf.
