The 2024-25 season was a historic one for Harvard-Westlake Boys Soccer, as the team captured its first-ever CIF and State Championships, cementing its place in school history. Key Contributors Leadership and experience were critical to our success, with Micah Rossen, Theo Ottoson, and the entire senior class making an incredible impact. Their maturity, competitive edge, and drive pushed the team through tough moments and ultimately helped achieve this unprecedented accomplishment. Season Reflection From start to finish, the season was filled with hard work, resilience, and unforgettable moments. The highlights included winning four road playoff games — showing our grit and determination — and clinching the state final victory at home at Harvard-Westlake. Every step of the way, the team demonstrated growth, unity, and a commitment to excellence that made this season one for the record books. Defining Moments Several turning points defined the spirit of our season: Winning 2-0 at Palmdale in the CIF playoffs. Winning four consecutive road playoff games, a true test of mental and physical toughness. Capturing the state championship at home, a fitting and emotional end to an incredible run. Player Development One player who truly rose to the occasion was Micah Rossen. His playoff performances were exceptional, and he became a cornerstone of our postseason success. His growth throughout the season was a huge factor in our title runs.
