Play1 Team Offseason Report: Eisenhower Volleyball (Oklahoma) Offseason Focus This offseason, Eisenhower Volleyball athletes have been staying sharp both on and off the court. Several players are competing in Travel Club Volleyball through the Great Plains Volleyball Club, gaining valuable high-level experience. Meanwhile, others are excelling in sports like tennis, track and field, cheer, basketball, and golf, showcasing the athletic versatility of the team. Open Gyms have served as a key touchpoint for team connection and maintaining a shared love for volleyball. Special Offseason Events This summer is packed with developmental opportunities for the Eagles. Varsity and JV squads will participate in a Summer League hosted by Cache High School throughout June. In July, the varsity team is taking a major step by attending a college team camp — a first for the program. This milestone will provide exposure to collegiate-level coaching and foster deeper team bonding. The team also plans to enjoy a fun-filled day at the lake, aimed at building camaraderie across all levels. Notable Additions & Departures Eisenhower graduated just four seniors, meaning the core of the roster remains intact and experienced. A fresh coaching dynamic is on the horizon, however, with the addition of all new assistant coaches bringing fresh energy and perspectives. Players to Watch Two standout seniors, Kaleigh Tito (setter) and Emma Hall (outside hitter), are poised for a big season. Both have been sharpening their skills on the Great Plains VBC 18-1 club team, practicing three times weekly and securing four Top-8 finishes since January. They’ll compete in the OKRVA Regional Championships on May 3–4. Keep an eye out for Ashley Ballard, a defensive specialist on the same club team, whose consistency and tenacity are turning heads. Weight Lifting & Fitness The team follows a carefully designed 3-day weightlifting schedule focusing on strength, mobility, and joint health. Complementing this are twice-weekly speed/agility and jump training sessions. This well-rounded approach ensures the girls are conditioned, explosive, and injury-resistant heading into the season. Coaching Perspective Coach Keiper and her staff are emphasizing position-specific development this summer. Through a series of clinics and camps, athletes will receive detailed, focused instruction tailored to their individual roles on the court — a strategy aimed at refining technique and maximizing on-court impact.
