Valley Christian Academy Girls Basketball team is led by three captains-- Mariah Contreras , Ellie Gunter, and Kylie Bazil--each of whom Coach Kimberly Contreras chose because they possess strong leadership qualities. According to Coach Contreras, these leadership qualities include wanting the best for the team, the ability to show good character in win or lose situations, and respect for the officials. These captains will be examples of good behavior for the rest of the players and ensure that the team operates with sportsmanship and honor. Through their combined leadership, the Valley Christian Academy Girls Basketball team strives to overcome adversity and make history!
