We do a lot of activities that encourage open dialogue and reflection in practices and team activities. This helps us to refocus on our ultimate goal to win every game and to build a strong bond with each other both on and off the court.

The mental aspect of the game is of utmost importance for the Lynbrook High School Girls Basketball team. As a rigorous academic public school, their players are constantly pulled in different directions and find themselves with limited specialized focus on the game they love. To combat this, the team has united in creating a positive and focused atmosphere on the court through encouraging open dialogue and reflection. From the moment the girls step onto the court, the Lynbrook team has a goal to win each and every game through strong team bonding and coming together as a unit.
