Coach Jeff Herdman of Mira Costa High School Girls Basketball team believes in creating an atmosphere of positivity and growth on and off the court. His hopeful and empowering coaching philosophy is designed to support the girls in their development of character. On the court, he encourages his players to play their game, giving them the freedom to make their own decisions, and expecting them to play with ferocity and confidence. He believes in shooting 3-pointers as smart decisions when the situation calls for it.
