We take a lot of pride here but always put academics first, and our coaching staff tries to be organized and maximize the learning environment. 

At Monterey Trail High School, we believe that academics must come first for our Girls Basketball players. To strike this balance, our coaching staff provides study opportunities during practice. This allows our players to keep up academically without sacrificing their participation in the sport. Grade checks are conducted on weekly basis, and any assignments not completed are taken care of at practice. Our coaches also prioritize an organized learning environment, allowing the student athletes to maximize their academic experience. As a team, we understand that a focus on academics is essential to overall success on and off the court.
