West Palm Beach, FL — In what was one of the most successful seasons in school history, the Atlantic Christian Academy boys basketball team finished with a 25–3 record, captured their second straight district championship, and advanced to the Regional Final, establishing themselves as a force in Florida high school hoops. Core Leaders Set the Tone The team’s success was anchored by standout performances and leadership from: Javian Cleveland Mike Muscarella Gabriel Poitier Kordell Louis Jean – The team’s only senior, served as the rim protector and top rebounder, providing critical interior presence and leadership throughout the season. These four were pivotal both on and off the court, guiding their teammates in the locker room and classroom while setting the pace in games. Season Highlights & Defining Moments The season launched with energy as Atlantic Christian secured a thrilling 2-point victory over Park Vista High School, setting a winning tone early. Despite facing adversity over the Christmas break with back-to-back losses, the team came together, regrouped, and reeled off an 11-game winning streak—a testament to their resilience and unity. Emerging Talent & Growth As the season progressed, two underclassmen stepped into the spotlight: Jayon Williams – Emerged as a consistent three-point threat. Xavier Chase – Developed into one of the team’s best defenders and all-around contributors. Their evolution was crucial during the stretch run and bodes well for the program’s future. Looking Forward With most of the team returning, Coach Gamble is optimistic about the road ahead. “We have some special players with unique gifts,” he said. “It’s going to be exciting to see how they continue to grow both individually and as a unit.” The offseason focus? A strong June and July of development, with an emphasis on turning weaknesses into strengths and refining the team’s core identity. Stats available on MaxPreps.
