The 2024–25 season was a year of challenges, growth, and promising development for the Beulah High School Boys Basketball team. Under the leadership of Head Coach Thomas Hill, the Bobcats showed clear progress on both ends of the floor, despite falling short of repeating as area champions.
Key Contributors
The Bobcats were led by a mix of senior leadership and emerging underclassmen talent.
Cam Baker, the team MVP and floor general, was dynamic at both ends, averaging 18.5 points and 3 steals per game, setting the tone with his quickness and leadership.
Senior Demarion Foreman brought experience and poise, finishing as the team’s second-leading scorer with over 12 points per game.
Jederian Foreman was a dominant force on the boards, consistently anchoring the team in the paint.
In addition, six other players averaged over two field goals per game, reflecting Beulah's balanced offensive approach.
Season Summary
While Beulah averaged 12 more points per game than the previous year and improved significantly on defense, they didn’t repeat as area champions—a disappointing result after the high of last season's title. Still, Coach Hill emphasized that the team "played well for the most part," and the statistical improvements hint at a bright future.
Growth and Development
Several players stepped into larger roles as the season progressed:
Ayden Sands found his rhythm late in the year as a perimeter threat.
Ki Morgan developed into a strong interior presence, bolstering Beulah’s rebounding and rim protection.
Adolph Dunn Jr. averaged 10 points per game and emerged as the team’s best defender, showcasing two-way potential.
Handling Adversity
The Bobcats faced significant off-the-court challenges throughout the season. Coach Hill noted, “You name it, we had it.” Yet, the team maintained a “next man up” mindset and supported each other through difficult times. Their resilience became a defining feature of the season.
Senior Leadership
Though not all senior contributions were detailed, it’s clear that veterans like Demarion Foreman played a crucial role in steadying the team. Their leadership will be missed, but their impact leaves a legacy for younger players to follow.
A Bright Future Ahead
The core of the Bobcats’ roster was made up of sophomores this year—players who can both defend and score. With Cam Baker and Jederian Foreman returning, Coach Hill is confident in the foundation being built. “There is a lot to be excited about,” he said.
Offseason Focus
Looking ahead, the coaching staff is focused on improving off-ball movement and defensive rotations, aiming to sharpen the mental and tactical side of the game.
