As we prepare for the upcoming season, Blind Brook High School’s volleyball team is hard at work during the offseason. With a renewed focus on health, skill development, and team bonding, we are setting ourselves up for a competitive and exciting season ahead. Here's a look at what we’ve been focusing on and what fans can expect.
Offseason Focus
This offseason, our main priority has been staying healthy and working to improve our individual and collective skills. We’re focused on maintaining physical wellness while also fine-tuning specific techniques to ensure that we’re at our best when the season starts. It’s been great to see our players stay committed to their personal growth and the team’s overall development.
Special Offseason Events
While we haven’t organized specific team camps or tournaments, our athletes have been staying busy with club volleyball, college clinics, and showcases. These events have been key in allowing our players to continue to grow their skills and gain exposure to higher levels of competition. It’s been fantastic to see our athletes pushing themselves and taking advantage of these opportunities to develop their game.
Notable Additions & Departures
We graduated three key seniors this year: our setter, our middle blocker, and our libero. These players made significant contributions to the team, and we will miss their leadership and skills. However, we are excited about the talent that will step up to fill these roles. We have some exciting players in the pipeline, and we are confident in their ability to step into these positions and continue our team’s success.
Players to Watch
Make sure you don’t miss the Rosenfeld Trio this season—Ella, Oriah (both rising seniors), and Annabel (an incoming freshman). This group has been putting in the work during the offseason, and I’m confident they will be a force to reckon with on the court. Their effort, commitment, and chemistry will make for a lineup that’s not only strong but dynamic. We’re excited to see them shine in their respective roles, and the potential for the entire team to come together in such a cohesive way is thrilling.

This offseason, we’ve been planning some fundraisers that will help support the team and our goals for the season.
