As the 2025 football season approaches, Central Fellowship Christian Academy is focused on building physical strength, competitive fire, and preparing the next generation of Lancers for success under the Friday night lights. Offseason Focus This offseason, the Lancers are zeroed in on two core areas: Physical Strength Competitive Energy With high expectations and a culture of accountability, the team is pushing hard in the weight room and fostering a mindset that embraces competition at every level. Special Offseason Events No official events listed yet, but the team is staying active through internal training and preparation. There may also be some additions to the coaching staff that could bring new energy and insight to the program. Roster Updates & Coaching Outlook Coach Jake Walls shared that the team is potentially adding new coaches to strengthen support across the board—an encouraging sign of growth and investment in the program. On the coaching side, the staff is exploring new strategies on both sides of the ball, keeping schemes fresh and tailored to the current roster's strengths. Players to Watch The Lancers return several standout players and rising contributors: Judson Walls – A 2,000-yard rusher returning to lead the offense once again. Expect fireworks. Matthew Albritton – A veteran three-year starting linebacker, bringing toughness and experience on defense. Jack Sipps & Josiah Phelps-Lewis – Two key offensive linemen returning to anchor the trenches and pave the way up front. This group sets the tone for the offseason and serves as the foundation for this year’s team. Weight Room & Nutrition Commitment While no specific offseason methods were detailed, there's a strong emphasis on: Weight gain through proper nutrition, especially increased protein intake Players are showing real commitment to physical growth and readiness This kind of dedication is exactly what the Lancers need as they develop younger players into game-ready contributors. Biggest Challenges “We need a lot of our young guys to improve quickly over the summer and be able to contribute positively.” That’s the biggest task ahead—developing depth and getting new faces ready for varsity competition. With strong leadership and offseason buy-in, CFCA is confident it can meet that challenge head-on.
