Harford Tech Volleyball Reloads with Depth and Club Talent in 2025 Offseason Development: Club Play Keeps the Edge While formal offseason training isn’t available due to county rules, many Harford Tech players compete in top-tier club programs such as MVA, Premier, MD Juniors, and Charm City. This gives athletes a chance to sharpen their skills, compete year-round, and return with elevated experience and confidence. “That’s the hope for all teams in our county,” Coach Clement says, “that their players stay active and involved through club volleyball.” Roster Changes: Replacing a Star, Rebuilding a Contender The Cobras will have to fill big shoes following the graduation of Saxon Fuller, the reigning Harford County Player of the Year. In response, Coach Clement is exploring the addition of another varsity coach to help manage and maximize team performance. Despite the loss, the returning core remains strong, with several high-impact players ready to lead the charge. Players to Watch: Familiar Faces, Bigger Roles Jacob Webber (Middle Blocker) and Bryce Davis (Middle Blocker) are both back to anchor the net. Davis stepped in midseason last year and showed poise under pressure. The Kozlowski Twins return with momentum: Philip Kozlowski (Setter) was selected for USA Volleyball’s 2024 National Team Development Program (Indoor & Beach, 18U), reflecting elite talent and leadership. Peter Kozlowski (Outside Hitter) is expected to step into the #1 OH role, replacing Saxon and bringing versatile offensive power. Austin Almony (Opposite Hitter) will be a major presence with his aggressive hitting and blocking, poised to become a key impact player. Looking Ahead: High Expectations, New Targets With Harford Tech crowned as last season’s county champions, they’ll enter 2025 with a target on their backs. “Other teams in the county are strong and will be gunning for us,” Coach Clement notes. The challenge now is to maintain the program’s standard while integrating new talent and adjusting to the loss of a superstar.
