Lathrop High School Girls Basketball Season Preview

As we head into the start of a new high school basketball season, fans of the Lathrop High School girl’s basketball team are eagerly anticipating what this year has in store. Top returning players include Shakara Porter and Sierra Adams, who have both proven themselves to be valuable assets to the team. Porter, a junior, has been an All-League player since her freshman year and consistently achieves impressive stats, making her a force to be reckoned with on the court. Adams, a senior, brings versatility and a strong work ethic to the team, able to guard all five positions and improve her outside shot over the summer. Both players have been named captains for this season, showcasing their leadership abilities and commitment to the team. In addition to the returning players, there are also some new additions to the team who are expected to make an immediate impact. Faith Allen, a transfer from Michigan, brings strength, speed, and anticipation to the team, making her a valuable addition to the lineup. The team also has three sophomores who were on the varsity team last season and are now ready to step up their game - Jaliyah Ray, Maddie Nungaray, and Araya Carson.
