Under the leadership of Head Coach Kirven Davis, the Lee County Trojans continued their tradition of excellence with another dominant season on the hardwood. Anchored by a battle-tested group of nine seniors, the Trojans racked up accolades, made a deep playoff run, and solidified themselves as one of Georgia’s elite programs. Key Contributors: Braden Moore (6'2, PG) – The heartbeat of the team and a true floor general, Moore delivered big plays when it mattered most. The Chipola College commit led the offense and set the tone in high-pressure situations. Kameron Sanders (6'3, SG) – A dynamic two-way player, Sanders contributed on both ends of the floor with scoring and elite defense. He will continue his career at the United States Air Force Academy. Mathew Hardwick (6'6, PF) – A physical presence in the paint, Hardwick grew into a dominant force by his senior year. He provided leadership and interior scoring and will play next at Fisk University. Ousmane Kromah (6'3, SF) – A defensive powerhouse, Kromah earned Region Defensive Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season, known for his ability to guard all five positions. Season Recap: The 2024–25 season added another chapter of greatness to the Lee County program’s legacy. The team captured its third straight Region Championship, won the prestigious Lee County Roundball Classic, and advanced to the Final Four for the fourth time in five years. This senior class made history as the winningest group in school history, posting a remarkable 96-20 record over four years. Turning Points: Milestone victories at the Roundball Classic and the Region 2-AAAAA Championship were key momentum builders. The Final Four appearance was a culmination of season-long consistency and veteran leadership. Player Growth: Among the seniors, Mathew Hardwick stood out for his evolution into a true post presence. His development from junior year into a dominant senior campaign was pivotal for the Trojans' inside-out success. Handling Adversity: With nine seniors on the roster, Lee County responded to adversity with poise. Injuries, tough losses, and late-game pressure only brought out their maturity and competitive edge. Senior Class Legacy: This senior class set the standard, both on and off the court. Their ability to meet and conquer challenges proved invaluable in carrying the program to new heights. Their combination of leadership, energy, and relentless drive leaves a lasting legacy. Looking Ahead: Coach Davis is excited about the returning players who now have championship experience and the hunger to keep building.
