The Orange Vista Boys Varsity Basketball team delivered an outstanding season under Head Coach Shamont Brown, capping off a dominant league run and setting a strong foundation for future success.
Key Contributors
Senior Henry Washington was the heart of the team, averaging 13.0 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 4.0 AST, and 2.5 STL, consistently driving the team’s offense and energy. Junior Adrian Viray brought a major spark, averaging 12.2 PPG, while sophomore Eric Wooten made a big impact inside with 10.7 PPG, 8.9 RPG, and 1.4 BLK per game. Seniors Brandon Suttle (9.4 PPG, 3.5 AST) and junior Tommy Smith (9.4 PPG) also made major contributions on both ends of the floor.

The Wolves had a phenomenal regular season, going undefeated in league play (10-0) and riding a 12-game winning streak. Their commitment and resilience were evident from the first game to the last, solidifying themselves as league champions.

Early in the season, Orange Vista challenged itself by facing top Southern California programs like Roosevelt (Eastvale), St. Francis (La Cañada), Damien (La Verne), and Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley), sharpening its skills for league competition.

As the season progressed, players like Tommy Smith, Dylan Avila, and Brandon Suttle grew into bigger roles, helping the team navigate tough games and critical moments.
