After an incredible 2024 season that saw Page High School’s girls win a TSSAA state championship and the boys post jaw-dropping team scores, the Patriots are using the offseason not to rest, but to reload. Head Coach Jamie Eickhoff leads a program known for its commitment to elite competition year-round—and this offseason is no different. Offseason Focus: Tournament Toughness Year-Round The Page High Golf team doesn't take time off. Every player is deeply immersed in high-level competition, from junior golf circuits to adult events across Tennessee and beyond. With private swing coaches and access to top-tier practice facilities, the players’ development continues 12 months a year. The focus is clear: build tournament experience and sharpen every facet of their game. Roster Changes: Big Names Graduate, New Stars Rise Both the boys’ and girls’ rosters are adjusting to the loss of some standout seniors: Boys Departures: Laird Williams (State runner-up, low round of 64) Chubbs Wilds (Low round of 63) Oliver Miller (Low round of 68) Girls Departure: Gabby Diaz (Made winning putts at district and state title playoffs) These players left big shoes to fill—but the next wave is already making headlines. Players to Watch: Rising Stars Already Making Noise Jake Eickhoff (Sophomore): Currently ranked #9 in Tennessee among all high schoolers, Jake placed 2nd in the TGA Men's State Match Play as a freshman and was named Male MVP of the 2024 TN Junior Cup. His trajectory is sky-high. Brooke Bennett (Junior): Also ranked #9 in Tennessee, Brooke has already committed to Western Kentucky University and earned Female MVP honors at the 2024 TN Junior Cup. Both are poised to lead their squads through another dominant season. Fitness & Training: Golf-Specific, Data-Driven Development The team’s commitment extends beyond the course. Many players work with TPI-certified golf trainers, developing speed, stability, and endurance that translate into on-course performance. Their individualized programs are part of what makes Page Golf such a consistently elite program. Coaching Strategy: The Numbers Don’t Lie Coach Eickhoff runs the team like a tour operation. The depth chart is maintained year-round, based on averages from players' best tournament scores across junior, men’s/women’s, USGA, and AJGA events. It’s transparent, competitive, and fuels personal accountability. Community Connection: A Team With a Town Behind It Page High Golf stays connected to its community in meaningful ways: Volunteered and caddied at the LIV Golf tournament at The Grove Featured on the WillCo Power Hour local sports radio show "The Shopping Party" fundraiser draws wide support from fans and families Recognized at a state playoff football game Road signs celebrate the girls' 2024 state championship Challenges Ahead: A Loaded Region and State Format Frustrations Despite the boys shooting -11 as a team at the 2024 regionals, they missed the state cut because Brentwood—also in their region—shot an unthinkable -19. The TSSAA's format, which allows just one team per region into the state tournament, makes qualifying extraordinarily difficult in hyper-competitive regions like theirs. With realignment increasing the number of teams in their region to 16, the road won’t get easier. On the girls’ side, replacing Gabby Diaz will be a key storyline. But with five strong contenders and a year-round depth chart driving competition, the Patriots are confident that someone will rise.
