What can fans and supporters expect from the team this season? Fans and supporters can expect to see a cohesive and dynamic team on the field. Our players have been working hard in the off-season and are hungry for success. They are determined to leave their mark on the league this year and we are confident that they will do so with their strong work ethic and determination.
We are excited for the season and look forward to displaying our passion for the sport to our fans and supporters. As the new season approaches, excitement and anticipation are building for the football team at Ramona High School. We had the opportunity to speak with Coach Kelly Mcallister to get a preview of what fans and supporters can expect from the team this year.
According to Coach Mcallister, the primary goal for the team this season is to build upon the strong foundation already in place. This includes continuous improvement, teamwork, and fostering a sense of unity both on and off the field. The team will focus on enhancing players’ skills, increasing their football IQ, and maintaining a positive mindset.
The key to achieving these goals will be discipline, communication, and a positive attitude throughout the season. One of the team’s biggest strengths this year will be their returning players. Ayana Goodwin, Olivia Molina, Athena Berber, Ashley Padilla, and Miley Valdivia are all standout players with unique abilities. Ayana is known for her exceptional speed and agility, making her a threat on both offense and defense.
Olivia has a reputation for catching anything thrown her way. Athena, the team’s center, has the ability to read the defense and be a target for her teammates. These players are special because of their dedication, work ethic, and the way they inspire their teammates. Despite the strong returning players, Coach Mcallister is also excited about the potential impact of new players on the team.
Marylin Cifuentes and Grettley Martinez-Avila have already impressed coaches with their athleticism and understanding of the game. These new additions will add depth and talent to an already strong team. Leadership is crucial to the success of any team, and Coach Mcallister emphasizes the importance of team captains. Ayana Goodwin and Alexandria Soto will serve as captains this year, chosen for their leadership, communication skills, and resilience. Good captains lead by example, motivate others, and stay calm under pressure.
