Salpointe Catholic High School Women’s volleyball Season Preview

Head Coach Keith Rubio and the Salpointe Catholic Lancers are preparing for another strong season, focusing on strength training and team development. With the majority of the roster returning and only two seniors graduating, the team is poised for a deep run in 2025. Offseason Focus: Strength & Conditioning The main emphasis this offseason has been building strength to improve power, endurance, and injury prevention. A structured weight training program helps players increase explosiveness and overall athletic performance. Roster Updates: Stability & Experience Departures: Only two players graduated, keeping the core of the team intact. Returning Talent: With most of last year’s roster coming back, the Lancers are expected to have strong team chemistry and depth. This continuity gives the team an advantage in experience and leadership, making them a serious contender in Arizona high school volleyball. Biggest Challenges: Staying Hungry & Focused Returning a majority of the team is a great advantage, but maintaining motivation, intensity, and continuous improvement will be key. Opponents will adjust to Salpointe’s strengths, so strategic tweaks and new plays could help keep the team ahead. What’s Next? Tournaments & Camps – No specific events announced yet, but offseason scrimmages and summer tournaments could be on the horizon.
