Trumbull High School – Varsity Boys Golf 2025 Offseason Report Offseason Focus This offseason, the team is refining its practice routines with a strong emphasis on swing mechanics, short game, and putting. In addition, there’s a concentrated effort on course management, an often-overlooked aspect that can make a significant difference in competitive rounds. Special Offseason Events No events listed, but players are expected to continue honing their skills independently and through personal development efforts.  Notable Additions & Departures Trumbull will graduate five of its twelve varsity players—key contributors to this season’s conference championship. With these departures, several important roster spots are up for grabs heading into the fall, offering new opportunities for rising talent. Players to Watch Miles Tibor (Rising Senior Captain) and Stephen Miklos (Rising Junior) both earned 1st Team All-Conference honors and are expected to anchor the team next season. Patrick Lewis and Ryan Banks, both rising juniors, are anticipated to step into key starting roles and play major parts in sustaining the team’s winning momentum.  Coaching Perspective Coach Jones and his staff are committed to evolving in all aspects—from team camaraderie and practice routines to course management and on-course execution. With a seasoned core returning, the focus this fall will shift toward fine-tuning and elevating the finer points of each golfer’s game. Fan Engagement & Community Impact Not detailed, but the team’s recent conference success no doubt brings pride to the Trumbull High community.  Biggest Challenges Ahead The main challenge this upcoming season will be filling the five vacant roster spots left by graduating seniors. With a strong group of seven returners, the goal is clear: continue to compete at a championship level and put forth a strong title defense in the conference.
