Liberty North High School Volleyball Season Preview

As the new school year approaches, the Liberty North High School volleyball team is gearing up for an exciting season. We sat down with Coach Katie Dowden to get a preview of what's in store for the team this year. Three seniors in particular, Mak Miller, Emma Christian, and McKenna Jacquin, are expected to lead the team both offensively and defensively. She wants someone who not only excels on the court but also displays leadership qualities off the court. According to Dowden, juniors Sawyer Hennigh and Kamryn Hinnenkamp fit the bill perfectly. Both are skilled players who can run the offense and make an impact on the team's block defensively. Their leadership abilities make them ideal candidates for the captaincy. Another junior, Annalyse Cisneros, also stands out for her contributions to the team's back row. Her strong defensive skills will be crucial in keeping the team's opponents at bay. The Suburban Conference Gold Division is one of the fiercest and most competitive in the state, with eight powerhouse teams, including Liberty North.
