With spring just around the corner, it’s almost time for the Maize South High School baseball team to take the field once again. After a successful season last year, the team is gearing up for another competitive year, with high ambitions and a talented roster. In an exclusive interview, Coach Admin Admin shared some insights into the goals, strengths and weaknesses, and overall mindset for the team this season at Maize South High School. Other key players from last year include Jack Martens, Jaxon Sullivan, Tate McNew, Brock Ellis, and Brody Epke, who all received some type of AVCTL DIV 1 award. One thing that makes these players special is their cohesiveness as a team. “The seven seniors we have this season are a very cohesive unit,” explained Coach Admin. “They have a goal of returning to the state tournament this year at WSU.” New Players While the team has a solid foundation of returning players, Coach Admin is also looking to some of the new players to make a positive impact on the team. “We are hoping some of our new guys can have an impact on us as roll players around our nucleus of guys,” he said. Team Captains When it comes to choosing team captains, Coach Admin looks for players who can rally the team and represent its personality. “Someone players want to play with, they can rally around when things start going south,” he shared. “We allow players to choose captains, guys they feel represent the team
