Eudora High School's Track and Field team is gearing up for an exciting season and Coach Admin Admin is ready to lead the team to success. With returning talent and promising new additions, the team has set their goals high and are ready to work towards achieving them. Coach Admin's overall goal for the team is to have every athlete reach their personal best and improve consistently throughout the season. This emphasis on individual growth and challenging oneself every day will be the key to the team's success. Coach Admin believes that it's the little things that make a difference and encourages the team to put in the effort even when it's not easy. The team has an impressive group of 11 state medalists from last season returning this year, along with several other talented athletes. Among the top returning players are senior Kole Manley, who holds the school record in both Pole Vault and Javelin. His dedication and leadership on and off the track make him a valuable asset to the team. Senior Zach Arnold, who holds the school record in the 3200m, is also set to make a mark this season. His strong work ethic and leadership qualities reflect in his performances. Senior Matthew Magette, who broke the long-standing record for 100m last year, brings power and speed to the team in sprint events and high jump. Senior Adrion Seals is an all-around athlete who contributes to the team's success in relay events. Junior Nathan Steinlage, who just missed qualifying for state last year, is determined to make his mark this season with his impressive work ethic. Additionally, the team has a strong group of female athletes, such as senior Sydney Owens, who consistently qualifies for state in multiple events. Senior Brennan Moeckel, who placed third in shot put at state last year, is chasing down the school record and is expected to have a great season. Junior Adalyn Hemphill is a triple threat, breaking two school records last year in long jump and triple jump, and also contributing to the 4x100 team. Hanna Keltner, the school record holder in the 800m, has had success in multiple events at state in the past two years. Junior Miranda Kuntz, who placed 6th in Javelin at state last year, is ready to continue her success this season. Aside from these individual standouts, Coach Admin emphasizes the importance of team effort and the leadership and dedication shown by the team on a daily basis.
