Junction City High School baseball team is gearing up for a successful season and their coach, Coach Admin Admin has high hopes for the team. With a strong focus on fundamentals and team chemistry, the Junction City Tigers are determined to make it to the state tournament and bring home a championship this year. With their eyes set on the ultimate goal, Coach Admin Admin and the team have a clear understanding of the key factors that will lead them to success. "To win, we have to continue playing great defense and pitching to hitters, but ultimately it will come down to our hitting," says Coach Admin Admin. The top returning players from last season are expected to lead the team to victory. Junior Cael Smith, known for his fundamental skills and power at bat, will play a key role as shortstop and catcher for the Tigers. Senior Cooper Bogenhagen, known for his competitive drive and determination, will be a dynamic player on the outfield and pitcher's mound. Brock Bazan, a senior infielder, is known for his defensive prowess and hitting capabilities. Senior pitcher Lincoln Upham, the team's ace, will be a force on the mound with his fastball and off-speed pitches. And senior Gavin Moore, known for his speed and hitting abilities, will be a valuable player in the outfield and designated hitter positions. But it's not just the returning players that will make an impact on the team this season. Coach Admin Admin has high expectations for several new players as well. Sophomore catcher Jamarcus Tyson, described as having a "D1 body," is expected to be a strong defensive player and a powerful hitter.
