As Lima Central Catholic Football enters a new era under Head Coach Colin Stolly, the program is laser-focused on building a culture of competition, toughness, and tradition. The offseason has been all about getting stronger—physically and mentally—in preparation for a season full of potential.
Offseason Focus: Competing in the Weight Room
Coach Stolly and his staff have emphasized one clear priority: competing in everything, especially in the weight room. "Being able to compete all spring and summer will allow us to prepare for the competition when it comes to games in the fall,” Stolly said. Strength, conditioning, and mental toughness are at the core of this offseason grind.
Roster Outlook: Key Returners Lead the Way
LCC returns a strong core of experienced players who are ready to lead:
Brady Parker – Back for his second year under center, Parker brings poise, leadership, and high expectations.
Caden Falke – A force at middle linebacker, he's poised to compete for Defensive Player of the Year in the league.
Louis Knotts – A defensive end who's made serious gains in the weight room this offseason.
Lausen Flores (RB), Mike Quatman (SS), Xavier Pernell (LB), Josh Young (FS) – All bring energy, experience, and playmaking ability on both sides of the ball.
Andrew Baldauf, Brady Malcom, Dom McKee – Anchor the offensive line and bring toughness in the trenches.
Jaxon White (WR), Jayden Williams (DL), J.J. Schnieders (DE) – Names to watch as the season unfolds.
The team does say goodbye to a couple of impact players, including Matthew Quatman (RB) and Gianni McKee (OL/DL), but the returning group is hungry and ready.
New Leadership, Same Tradition
While Coach Stolly is new to the head coaching role, he’s no stranger to the tradition and expectations of Lima Central Catholic football. “Trying to get over the hump is what we are focused on,” he said, with eyes set on deep playoff runs and raising the program’s already high standard.
Community Support: A Program Pillar
“Our community is always supporting us,” Stolly shared. “We take a lot of pride in knowing they spend their hard-earned money to come watch us play.” That connection fuels the team’s drive and gives the players a bigger purpose on Friday nights.
Biggest Challenge Ahead: Adapting to High Standards
Coach Stolly knows that building something great means getting uncomfortable. “Understanding the expectations of a new head coach and pushing to the next level might be tough at first—but the payoff will be worth it.”
Lima Central Catholic is building something special, one rep, one practice, and one standard at a time. The goal is clear: compete with everything they’ve got and bring home something bigger this fall.
