As the Tarboro Vikings prepare for the upcoming season, the focus is crystal clear—rebuilding the offensive and defensive lines. After graduating four of five starters on the O-line and both starting tight ends, the coaching staff has spent the offseason developing the next wave of players to protect and push the program forward.

This offseason brought a notable coaching change as the JV Head Coach took the reins at Beddingfield High School. To keep things in the family, Eric Jones—formerly the Middle School Head Coach—was promoted to lead the JV squad. He’s joined by his offensive coordinator, Adrian Brown, and OL/LB coach Sean Howard.
With the JV team now sharing a campus with varsity, Coach Craddock and staff are ensuring all levels of the program are aligned in philosophy and execution. “We’re bringing them in, showing them how we do things,” Craddock said. “They’ve done a great job at the middle school level, and now they’re stepping into a bigger role.”
